Apple and Hermès first collaborated six years ago with luxury straps made for Apple Watch. They are both industry leaders with Apple representing the new world of technology. Both companies are known for their high standards and leadership in their respective fields.
Apple announced during its Spring Loaded event, the first the company had this year, another partnership with Hermès with Apple’s newly released AirTags.
The AirTags is a new Apple device that allows users to locate physical objects you attach it to like keys, wallets, etc. It uses Apple’s Find My app to help locate those objects and harness state-of-the-art tracking system harnessing a crowdsourced billion Apple devices to help locate those things even when they’re offline.
The Hermès AirTag Travel Tag is a leather holder for the AirTag and is supplied complete with an exclusive etching of the Cloud de Selle signature. It also includes a section to add contact details that are similar to other tags used for travel suitcases.
The AirTag Hermès is crafted in Barènia calfskin or Swift calfskin that the brand is known for and comes in its signature brown hue.
The Apple AirTag Hermès Travel Tag costs $699 and includes an Apple AirTag. It is available to order with shipments starting on April 30.
Hermès also released a new case for the new iPhone lineup. The new Hermès case for iPhone 12 and iPhone 12 Pro is made in France and is distinguished by its silky touch.
